What is Play Therapy?
Play therapy is a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps children express their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a way that feels natural to them—through play! Just as adults use words to process their feelings, children use toys, art, and movement to communicate what they may not yet have the words to say. Through play therapy, children can:
✨ Develop healthy coping skills
✨ Process big emotions in a safe space
✨ Build confidence and self-awareness
✨ Improve social skills and problem-solving abilities
By working with a trained therapist in a supportive, engaging environment, children learn to navigate challenges, heal from difficult experiences, and build resilience—all while playing!
